(BOA) has partnered with the Barbados Lottery to launch a new ‘scratch and win’ game to support Barbadian athletes with their preparations for the 2016 Rio Olympics. (BOA) will host two high-level meetings this month, the Olympic Solidarity Workshop and the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) General Assembly. The meetings take place at the Hilton Barbados Resort from October 14-17, 2014.

Barbados will provide an integral link when it welcomes the baton as it travels on one of the most engaging relays in the world. Today the Baton is currently travelling through St. Helena (an island in the South African Ocean).

(BOA) is gearing up to host the iconic Commonwealth Games Baton when it visits the island on March 5 as part of the Queen’s Baton Relay (QBR). The QBR is a much loved tradition of the Commonwealth Games which will be held this year from July 23 – August 3 in Glasglow, Scotland.
