Foromic closes with call to develop innovative and flexible financial products for SMEs
St. Michael, Barbados – Latin America and the Caribbean need to develop increasingly flexible and innovative financial products and services for the region’s burgeoning small and medium enterprise sector, according to discussions held during the 15th Inter-American Forum on Microenterprise (Foromic 2012).
The Federation of Caribbean Association of Architects has its first female President. Sue Courtenay of Belize was elected to this post this weekend at the 8th Biennale and Congress held at the Hilton Hotel.
“We are very pleased that key players in the local market has seen it fit to come on board to support the conference as it will certainly be a landmark occasion for us providing valuable reinforcement of what we do on a daily basis,” he said.
The Barbados Institute of Architects (BIA) has sealed the deal with Aqualoc Corporation, which specializes in the distribution, installation and manufacturing of world class water proofing products.
The 14-year-old company is now a Gold Sponsor of the Federation of Caribbean Association of Architects (FCAA) 8th Biennale and Congress which is being held at the Hilton Barbados, September 27-29, 2012.
