new Regional Development Manager for the Caribbean and Americas regions.

The Barbados Olympic Association (BOA) Inc. today announced that the activities to commemorate Olympic Day 2020 on June 23 will all be online for the first time in the history of the day’s remembrance. For over 30 years, Olympic Day has largely been associated with Olympic Day runs all over the world.

The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. (BOA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organization Inc. (Caribbean RADO) to continue housing that agency’s operations at the BOA’s headquarters in Wildey, St. Michael. 

The Barbados Olympic Association Inc. (BOA) has officially announced the retirement of two long-serving employees - Dave Farmer and Charles Beckles.

Dave Farmer served as the Director of the National Olympic Academy from January 2008. He was responsible for the development and implementation of educational programs for athletes, coaches, managers and all stakeholders in the sporting fraternity.
