Project Approach

PRMR Inc. focused on the internal communications of the Hospital. A communications audit with staff at different levels was pursued to determine their psychological contract with the company, what existed previously, and their expectations.

Solutions

The communications plan implemented required a high level of staff participation in the plan’s execution, and ongoing communications about new developments within the Hospital. The communications methods included the use of a newly implemented newsletter, social media and graphics.

Outcomes

After three years in operation, the Hospital lost just one staff member who left for a better opportunity.

Employees reportedly are better informed, and morale is higher than under previous owners. This has translated into only positive comments on the Hospital’s lone social media platform, Facebook.
