I am a firm promoter of the saying “Perception is Reality” after all, it is the business that I am in and I have even used this phrase in the PRMR Inc. slogan.
Mariama this year started our Pinterest account (http://pinterest.com/prmrinc ) and this slogan took new meaning as one of our picture boards has been named “Perception Is Realty”. It has one of the highest pins of all our boards because it displays our reality in pictures, and it is hilarious.
Tonight as I browsed our Facebook page (www.facebook/prmrinc) the slogan popped into my head when I saw the attached image. It is not that funny but it sure is a great example of point of view and reality. I really looked at the screen at all angles and could see depending on my point of view, three or four columns. You have a go and give me your feedback.
If you do not know of Pinterest then your point of view maybe that of an older persons since this is where the young people are now hanging out. Facebook has been left to the grannies and to Barbadians who of course are very late adopters. Wish I could have this scenario diagrammed - an aging Facebook and a spritely Pinterest-to post.
